Experience in bussing / restaurant / bar back / bartending is a plus, but not 100% necessary. This is an entry-level position, perfect for anyone who is looking to begin their career in the world of nightlife and hospitality, in an environment where new and useful skills are learned every day. All of our new hires begin as a busser & floater. Next, they advance to bottle server, then to bar back, and finally to bartender.
EVERY BARTENDER AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS STARTED AT THE BUSSER POSITION AND ADVANCED UP THE RANKS. Management believes that each level in the ladder to becoming a bartender is crucial in understanding how a busy nightclub comes together to achieve Raven’s superior customer service experience. Each staff member is vitally important to the consistent execution of successful nights.
Initial Entry Level Duties: Help set up for club event on Friday and Saturday night. Bus tables of glassware. Bathroom checks and mop/clean spills. More responsibilities added as your abilities are mastered and evaluated.
